the ramadan nearly over..
ipuenktchen, 02:51h
we have the ramadan in its last days.. and once again we were invited by our pottery-friends-association for fasting-breaking *eftar* in common in the yard of potter's house!!
all members are participating in getting the stuff and/or preparing the dishes. the mostly women are so busy and it's really an amazing gathering every year!!
this we had this eve!! sunset around 8.15 PM allowed to start eating and everybody try to arrive in time! the fasting people start by drinking tea or hot water and step by step with light things like bread with cheese or dates or milk and only later a stew or soup or rice or smth else..
the live museum *potter's house* was given 6 years ago to the pottery-friends-association of east-azerbaijan, an ancient traditional house of qajar era with a permanent exhibition of our art-works, several classrooms for throwing and decorating, a traditional kiln, workshops and so on, and also a shop.
it's a beautiful area with a nice yard with a bassin and walnut trees and nice flowers!
ppl like a lot to go out in ramadan during the eves, in the parks or to see their friends or relatives, as well as they have to get up again in the very early morning to take their meal *sahar* before sunrise - and to have another day without any food or even water untill sunset!!!!
btw in farsi it's *ramazan*!
and for sure it depends to everybody itself to fast or not, but outside you have to accept the rules!!
