Virtual Tours of Attractions
A group of young Iranian innovators based in Uppsala, Sweden have created an online platform providing 360° panoramic view of top attractions in the country. They used high quality images and high definition videos to create for their project, IRNA reported. The on­line platform (www.persiaport.com) is available in four languages: English, French, Arabic and Chinese — but not Persian, making it clear that the developers are targeting foreign tourists. The website is still in its early days and does not boast a huge selection of sites, but quoting an unnamed source, the news agency reports that the developers will regularly expand the number of attractions on the platform.
