around the world with ipuenktchen

as we were so excited for today's event in the garden, we couldn't sleep, only in the early morning.. and so it was quite late, when we get up at... *shame*.... one o'clock!!!!! and noooooooo taxi everywhere... so we entered the bus to rahnemai station!

at first we saw the very sad final happening to a former beautiful new-year-sabzeh!!!!!!!



das sabzeh am 13. tag des neuen jahres in fliessendem wasser auf die reise zu schicken, geraet mehr und mehr in vergessenheit.. die leute stellen es bei der abfahrt auf den kuehler des autos und in der ersten kurve rutscht es runter und der nexte faehrt es PLATT..... :-((((((((



boah - everywhere tents and people picknicking and kids playing - what a nice weather!!!! what a beautiful *sizdah be dar*!!!!!!



so we took a taxi to enter the station where regular taxis are going outside from tabriz, and lucky us - the driver was looking for the last passenger, so he could leave!! and we didn't lost any time... ON THE ROAD!!!!!!!!! it tooks half an hour to the garden.. and when we had only 5 min to drive, ipue.. was calling her husband, came to pick us up from the main road!



when we entered the garden, I was looking only for CROSSY and he was looking for me - and we were so happy to see us after 15 days again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!



the weather was great, everybody happy and relaxed, and we started to have lunch!! gosh, what a lunch!!! two EXCELLENT cookers of our friends prepared the meal - lucky us, to have so great friends who are so first class cookers!!!! :-)))))))



in front of the garden, where were some fields, everywhere even here also tents, tents, tents...
and lot of people, playing and laughing and having fun. people here like their new year sessions too much!!!!! even it's in a nice season at the beginning of spring!! and today is the last day and up from tomorrow normal every day life....., office, school, university, kindergarden..



so finally we left the garden, back home we met.... PAULO, who came back from another mysterious trip..
now we are going to bed, but tomorrow we'll have a lot to tell each other!!!!!?!?!? and me, POSSY, I'm sooooo curioussssssss!!!!!!!?!?!?!!!

here you can see a lovely custom of northern iran:
the green salad is available in this kind and ppl like it too much, to dip the leaves in a bowl of vineagar and eat it - yummy!!!!?!??! as there isn't that winter at the caspian seaside, it's available still in early spring time!!



arrived at home the kids wasn't still tired enough and had to make their *daily fitness*.... LOOOOL..

what a great moment for me - the kids gave me a stick and I was allowed to paint out also some parts of the pic!!! How happy I've been!!!!

uiiiii - I'm so excited - ipue made a photo of me and
her sabzi from haftsin-table in their yard!! before we
had a look at the other spring flowers and took some
photos!!!!



today her husband and her friends went to their
garden 25 km outside of tabriz on the tehran-road!!!
but as Ipue don't likes that much to sleep in the garden she decided, that we both will go there only next morning!!!



she told me, don't worry, we'll go out and look for a
taxi to bring us to the garden to yussefabad. but for sure it will be so crowded outside!! could we find a car???????
and so I'm excitedly waiting.........
I don't know I will be able to sleep this night or not....

and this also for another reason, too!!!!! tomorrow I'll meet CROSSY, back from his mysterious trip!!!!!!??! I'm really thrilled up from now!!!!!!!!!

today we had a date with ipue's pottery-friend and I was so happy, she took me with her!! first of all we had a look at potter's house, a beautiful traditional house of qajar era! fine restored as a living museum.







there is a permanent exhibition of art works of members of pottery friends association, and a shop and several classes like throwing, painting and so on, and last not least the kiln!!

this design is so sweet and ipue told me, before there were cards from some of the items, and ipue used this one often as a X-mas-card!! (c) mrs. FTM


a huge shock - this beautiful one was broken on the road, when there was a pickup, brought so many art pieces for an exhibition - and mostly broken on the way!!!!! :-((((

after we passed the ancient municipality - the building made by germans in the 30ies, nowadays a museum!

after we went to the blue mosque as there was a handicraft exhibition in the yard!







we had also a look inside the blue mosque! how often ipue had used from these patterns for her pottery items!! and I really would like to see inside!
