LeilaParAvion's last ride downtown tabriz...... :-)))

step by step her time in tab will be finished and today we had a last ride downtown....
first the wellknown new mansour-crossroad with its silkroad tower backside!
and here the beautiful mosaic downstairs....
huuuuh - iranian's paradise, harvest of the awfull sour *goje sabz* - we are calling it *unripe* - plums!!!
next we entered the main post-office and sent out TEN CARDS!!!!
finally the BLUE MOSQUE leila had seen lately only from far, today we had a look everywhere - a beautiful brick mosque with a large dome!!! registered on the UNESCO tentative list!!!
the lapislazuli part why it's called *blue mosque*!!
(this isn't that you're thinking now!!!!! absolutely not!!! but a very old sign for air, fire, water, earth and had been in the oriental cultures untill it had been stolen............)

monthly family gathering at yashila's & lili's :-)))

it was her first time to take part in an iranian gathering and LeilaParAvion war really thrilled what will happen...
there are about 50 guests, the bros & sis of ipue's hubby with their kids and grandchildren and so on....... and although there is no dinner it's a lot to prepare and to buy the days before.. even you have to modify the furnishing... well, who has 50 chairs at hand...??? and also you have to think for 60 - 70 plates, tea glasses, cutlery and so on!!!!! you have to go to fruit bazar and buy tons of fruits, tons of nuts, sunflower seeds and others.. it isn't an easy job!!!!!
and when the guests arrived the hosts have to work hard!!!! every moment tea must be ready and served permanent!!!!!! to serve pastry, cookies, sweets... the fruits and nuts are ready on each table. cleaning the dishes all the time - and and and and...............
and don't forget to clean the plates very often!!! ;-)))
nevertheless for LeilaParAvion it was a great moment to see the place of yashila_81 and lili_6789!!! aaaaand lucky to meet again dear JORIS and also TEDDY (who came from ardabil, born in the states!!!), which was a new friend for her!!!
and btw... what kind of dangerous stuff they have at home????

LPA - downtown by bicycle with april-weather :- )))

first we went to bazar, registered as a world heritage site as the
world largest roofed bazar!!
..where we bought some barberries and spices!!
also we asked for good tea to buy as a souvenir!!
later we went back home along one of the ancient streets of tabriz and found a beautiful entrance of an old house in qajar style from more than 100 years ago!
it was my wish since years ago to take a pic here!!! and finally I reached to do.......... :-)))
down in the street there were also some antik shops,
boah... what great things!!!!?!?! trousseau stuff from olden times!!!!!!!!
when arrived home we were so tired!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
