around the world with ipuenktchen

today we started the annually x-mas-baking with our wellknown black & white cookies..... same procedure like every year...........



and instead of dear little anita_2004 for help like in former years, we had the cute PlaymoSanta as a co-baker and supervisor... hehehe.....

as I had two more recipes to realize, here you can see a swiss pastry and the wellknown spice-cake I'm doing since yeeeeeeears!!!!

wie der WELT zu entnehmen ist, soll ca. im feb 2016 eine 5-euro-muenze in DE herausgegeben werden, die als eine weltneuheit angekuendigt wird!!!

es soll ein durchsichtiger blauer ring aus polymer aufgebracht werden! dieser kunststoff laesst sich einerseits wie metall praegen, andererseits koennen ausser farbpigmenten auch sicherheitsmerkmale hinzugefuegt werden und wird von der staaatlichen muenze als eine epochale innovation bezeichnet!!!!

im laufe von 10 jahren forschung wurde dieses patentgeschuetzte objekt entwickelt!!! bei der *world money fair* in berlin soll die muenze im feb 2016 der oeffentlichkeit vorgestellt werden!! man macht sich auch hoffnung dort auf exporte....

as other x-mas-customs with the tree or Advent wreath with candles or Advent calendary and so on is this for ppl who aren't that much in, a kind of lightening of the darker season - like the customs around shabe yalda, winter solstice.......

the advent wreath got established by johann hinrich wichern in 1838... and even the advent calendary got printed for its first time in 1902 by a hamburg publisher.. both started from northern germany!!! yeahhhh.. I love them both a lot!!!!!
