believe it, at the *deutscher hof* at erbil at its biergarten there was a christmas-market just the day we were there!! so nice... with tons of santas, baby-santa even, women-santas, ready for a photo-session!!!

ausserdem gab es keksbacken fuer kinder, und man konnte waffeln, linsensuppe m wuerstchen od gar gluehwein erstehen... es wurden auch weihndekoartikel angeboten und bierglaeser in allen formen u groessen...
in erbil it was fun to meet x-mas-trees at every turn!!!!!!

as there are.. the fort, park view town, kurdish money, humus, x-mas-decoration, kind of 'paradise'.., luxury cars.., main mosque

Durchs wilde Kurdistan.................

jeppppppppppppppppppppppppp!!!!!
we got it!!!! to meet our son1 again, and my hubby for his very first time to see his working place abroad!!! nice weather, best travel season here, no rain, not too much sun, no sandstorm, no mosquitos and and and.... and x-mas-decoration everywhere as lots of the kurds are chaldean... and of course we have a lot of fun!!! we didn't met since 6 months ago..
got up in the early morning at 4 AM, breakfast, getting ready to enter our terminal.. and at 7.30 in the eve son1 picked us up from his terminal there... pretty tired as we had been.................
and of course our diner had been MUSTARD EGGS... what else??
first some pics from on the road.. went by a normal bus to urumieh, continued by a comfortable bus passed piranshahr (with bad memories...) and the border in the mountains!! from there three hours only mountains very close and up and down and bends and bends and bends......... untill reached the region of greater erbil...
