October 9th is World Post Day!!! congrats to all postcrossers allover the world!!!!!!!!!!!

it was my wish since years to celebrate an anniversary for my beloved great parents-in-law!!!!!!! so I got successfull in this fall, while son2 and his family are with us, as they are working/ changing smth in their own home again...

because of their support and kindness it was possible for me to get habitude to stay in such a different culture.. for a young mom who hadn't see any others than european countries at that time.. 41 years ago... how bad I had been during my personal earthquake in my life here when moved to IR, my mother-in-law always said, doesn't matter, she has nobody here around and she is my daughter as well.......... R.I.P. and shame on me..

one of the greatest highlights of our stay in kiel at our oldest friends from IR is of course the by far worldbest GULASCH, so yummy, yummy, yummyyyyyy........



another highlight from their garden, the fantastic gooseberries.. in the meantime I found a gooseberry-plant for our garden, even a red one, and hopefully we will have these berries from my childhood in the near future, too!!!!!!??!?!



we chilled out a lot there beside the baltic-sea, without seeing the sea.. mostly at home or with the kids chatting and chatting........ *smile*

One of our days in frankfurt came another old friend to pick us up and show around. It was a nice idea even with this great weather we enjoyed this day, when he brought us to the little town DREIEICH with it's beautiful castle DREIEICHENHAIN!!!!





To profit more from the excellent weather after being back in franfurt we entered the main shores in sachsenhausen..... from here we had a great view at the skyline of frankfurt!!!!
