around the world with ipuenktchen

Today 5th Session!!!!!!!!
this friday again a cooking session, yeaaaaah.....

we were working fast... son2 bought so much stuff....

so we had today
- persian rice, he learned before from his wife!!!
- german huehnerfrikassee
- german frikadellen in two mannors,
-- original with dried old bread
-- modern style with grated potatoes and herbs



and believe it, we were just ready on the table when dear lili_6789 got back home from her classes and had a great meal together!!!!!!!



and poor yashila_81, in the very late eve, when everybody was sleeping, he got busy with his tons of herbs and made FOUR pans full of coucou sabzi, he learned recently from his wife... and me, poor ipue, made at home the same pile of frikadellen, as we did before together!!! our freeezers got so happy, hehe....

on SUN dear lili_6789 would go to see her parents and asked for their wellknown taxi-driver to pick up her & the kids!!!!!





and so we left for ARDABIL at noon, arrived there at 4 PM. it was a great trip, so lovely sunny weather and nobody out.. the roads where completely outgone...





beautiful snowy mountains, mostly 3.000 m high and of course also the wonderful sabalan with its 4.811 m.



I couldn't stop to make pics..............................

and as the road was so deserted, our driver decided to go across the town SARAB. we hadn't seen since ages, as all drivers take the normal bypass.......... and it was nice to see sarab is grown up, a real city, no longer a large village..







and as the normal last bus around 6 PM hadn't been on the schedule this day I had to stay there for the night, too.. and so I could profite of the surprise..................... and so I came back on MON 7 PM!!!!


(I will tell you later about, coz I made a lottery in postcrossing and will not spoil the surprise!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

and as the winner of the a.m. lottery is found (4th march) I can let you know about the surprise!!!! yeaaaaah... we had D I S H L I K H !!!!!!!!!!! the son of the younger brother of dear lili_6789 got his first tooth and they made partyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!!

in der schuessel, was wie eine suppe aussieht, ist das traditionelle DISHLIKH, womit schon seit urzeiten der verwandtschaft der 1. zahn angekuendigt wurde!!! bei sohn2 kochte es noch unsere oma hier, aber auch bei den enkelkindern haben wir den brauch nicht vergessen, meine gute IR freundin hier hat es fuer alle drei enkel gekocht u es wurde anlaesslich einer einladung dann an alle verteilt!

This delicious nuts, grains, barley, chick peas and dried fruit dish is ceremonially prepared when a baby has its first tooth. not for the baby though! it's just symbolic, to announce the first tooth!!! decorated with fried onions and raisins..

last FRI we went to our garden km25 teh road!!!!
as my hubby told us about so much snow there.. around 30 cms!! we would like to see the babies playing in the snow..
