I'm speechlessssssssssss!!!!!!
an sooo impressed, as in less than 24 hours you brought me nearly half of the page views I'd like to get during 6 days!!! YOU'RE SOOO GREAT, all my dear postcrossing friends!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

today is the first day of our new year, and we had been out the whole day! somebody don't like the new years customs to visit each other!! in my first time here, I didn't, too!!!! and it seemed to me like little girls are playing with their dolls... to get guests and to go for visiting..... - the SAME people!!! and meet in their houses also the same ppl like everywhere!! but now I think in another way about this. you have the opportunity to see ppl you hadn't seen for a long time or you would never reach to see them!!!!

so let me find a nice *HAFTSIN* to present you this nice custom in IR!! pls stay tuned!!

HERE MY ONE AND ONLY *FUN-HAFTSIN*!!!!!!!!
this is not THAT nice haftsin I'd show you but a FUN-haftsin from about 1o years ago, when the moment of moving to the new year was also like in this year during the night.. nobody was in the mood
to stay awake, to make efforts for a nice haftsin and so on, and finally my kids started to make a FUN-haftsin, just in the last minutes of the old year, to catch 7 things with *s*........

- saboun (seife)
- serum
- sidi (cd)
- sibzamini (kartoffel)
- saffeh (schallplatte)
- sin, the letter, written on papersheets

only sabze and newly printed banknotes had been from a normal haftsin... which is from..

- sib (apfel)
- serkeh (essig)
- samanou (getreidepudding)
- sabze (gekeimtes und ausgeschlagenes getreide)
- sir (knoblauch)
- senjed (frucht)
- sumagh (gewuerz)
