30 hours by bus to istanbul...

boah - how much traffic at ipue's...
today we went to terminal to say goodbye to some passengers going by bus to istanbul -oh gosh, what a huge backpack they were carrying... :-0 me, ThomasHH, I would never be able to do so......

*OFFICIAL MERCEDES BENZ CLUB IRAN*

YEAAAAAAAH.......
we were so proud and happy to host the iranian team on their way to the great meetup of 6.ooo mercedes benz classic cars from all over the world which are announced to come to BERLIN at 26 - 28th august 2011!
the IR team started on FRI 11.30 AM at TEHRAN, accompagnied by about 35 other classic cars for a while and then on the road to their first stop at TABRIZ!!!!!!!!
they arrived at 5.3o PM at ipue's!!! we were soooo excited! and ThomasHH was so thrilled to be at ipue's in such a great event!!!!!!!! :-)))) it will even have a note in the *GUINESS BOOK OF RECORDS*!!!
they brought rain with them even!!!! up from zanjan it was raining here & there, and finally in tabriz, too!!! you remember - ppl in this part of the world like rain!!!!
we had a pretty *KOEFTE TABRIZI* as our dinner and later some friends of son1 (who is one of the drivers) and from son2 as well were coming to have a glance and chatting and chatting...
at SAT morning a good breakfast all together and smth to do and later there were planned a short look at a workshop - but it was'n that short............ so finally they had been on the road to urmia lake and the crossing the border ahead to VAN (TR)!!!!!!!!!!
